This song is like home for me. Andrew McMahon brilliantly spins incredible regret and impossible redemption in the soft, melancholy keys of his piano. I used to listen to this song in high school and wonder what it would be like to genuinely experience the feelings he expresses in this song. How naïve I was then. How naïve I still am.
